Welcome to Proctor School!

Interim Principal Adrian Alford

Adrian Alford
Interim Principal of Proctor Elementary School, Topsfield MA

Dear Proctor School Families,

My name is Adrian Alford and I am honored to serve as the Principal of Proctor School! I am thrilled to be part of the Tri-Town School Union and to join such a vibrant and dedicated school community.

With over 18 years of experience in education, I can confidently say that working in this field is one of the most meaningful and fulfilling professions. Before stepping into school leadership, I worked as a school counselor—an experience that deeply shaped my commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all students.

Proctor School is home to approximately 275 students in grades 4 through 6. Our staff is passionate about nurturing a community where every child feels seen, heard, and empowered to thrive. We are committed to academic excellence, social-emotional development, and innovative teaching that meets the diverse needs of our learners.

As a district, we are currently focused on three key areas that guide our ongoing growth:

  • Inclusive Practices
  • Social-Emotional Learning
  • Innovative Teaching Practices

I’m excited to partner with you as we continue to build a strong, connected, and forward-thinking school community. Together, we will ensure that Proctor School remains a place where students flourish both academically and personally.

Sincerely,

Adrian Alford, Interim Principal of Proctor School, Topsfield MA
